“I am getting along so much better with my Home Care Aide helping me to get myself ready for the day. Before I started having someone to help, it was taking such a long time to get my bath and get dressed. I get tired very easily because of some breathing problems.”
“I’m almost a hundred years old and there are still some things I can do for myself, however I don’t take chances anymore. I’ve gotten weaker and don’t want to fall. My Home Care Aide is there to make sure I’m safe when I move about the house. She does things for me that I can’t do for myself.”
“I have arthritis in my knees. I can’t stand for long periods. My hands and arms also hurt when I’m trying to do basic chores around the house. Having my Home Care Aide assist me is worth more to me than I can describe. I was having trouble cooking for myself and was afraid to get in the tub when I was alone at home…now that’s not a problem anymore.”
“Mother just loves having her Home Care Aide come in each day! They get along well and have developed their own daily routine. I try not to bother them when they are together because the Home Care Aide is able to get her to do things that I can’t get her to do. I don’t know what we would do without her!”
